ABOUT ABOUT

P.S.Y.C.H. 607 is bringing the comedy back to the American Legion Post 80 in Binghamton. Mike Peters, Hal Stewart, Mike Terry, Victoria Diana and Taury Seward are coming together for Laughing in the Legion on Friday, Dec. 21.

The show starts at 8 p.m., and tickets are $5 online and at the door. The doors open at 7 p.m., and the bar is open all night, so stop in early for a couple before the laughter begins.

About the comedians:
Mike Peters, a Binghamton comedian, is a co-founder of P.S.Y.C.H. 607. Peters specializes in self-deprecating, observational humor. He's a regular host at Spotlight in Binghamton and ran the Matty B’s open mic for a year before its close. A contributor for Funny or Die, Peters performed at the Funny Bone in Syracuse, the Greenwich Village Comedy Club in New York City, won the Utica Brews Laugh Contest and opened for Super Troopers’ Rabbit, Erik Stolhanske and Gilbert Gottfried. Peters told jokes throughout New York and Pennsylvania on the Family Circus Comedy Tour and produces shows all over the Binghamton area.

A Binghamton comedian with a flare for storytelling, Hal Stewart pulls his material from his family, everyday experience and interactions to which anybody can relate. He once attended Harvard University for its annual Peach Festival.

Terry is an established comedian in the Syracuse scene. Quiet until he gets on the mic, Terry is a strong comic who's done time at the Funny Bone and was a regular at the 'Cuse Comedy Showcase.

Victoria Diana performs all over New York and Vermont. She’s the winner of the Queen Bee Comedy Competition and the Vermont Comedy Outlaw’s Thunderdome. She’s the loser of many other comedy competitions and her mother’s validation. She loves writing in third person and pretending to read Infinite Jest in public for attention. She is currently saving up for her first side-boob tattoo: “Some dive bar near Jones Beach,” so she never forgets from where she came.

Taury Seward, a co-founder of P.S.Y.C.H. 607, won the Who's Got Next? Rochester tournament and is a regular at Matty B's and Spotlight. He works steadily around New York and Pennsylvania and enjoys Bob Dylan, spam and amusement parks. He's a crowd favorite and always helpful at the grocery store. Seward runs the successful Laughs with Friends and Black on Black series and lives in constant fear of his grandfather.
