Laughs and Draughts is back at Galaxy Brewing Company on Saturday, Nov. 9. Syracuse comedian MrJaxn is headlining the night and Allentown's favorite funny couple, Ian Webster and Roya Hamadani, are making the tip along with host Mike Peters.
The show starts at 9 p.m. Tickets are $5 and available online now and at the door, which opens at 8 p.m.
About the comedians:
Mike Peters, a Binghamton comedian, specializes in self-deprecating, observational humor. A contributor for Funny or Die, Peters performed at the Funny Bone in Syracuse, the Greenwich Village Comedy Club in New York City, won the Utica Brews Laugh Contest and opened for Super Troopers’ Rabbit, Erik Stolhanske and Gilbert Gottfried. Peters produces shows all over New York.
Ian Webster has been traveling Pennsylvania telling jokes for the last six years. A Rochester native, Webster is based in Allentown and has performed at SteelStacks in Bethlehem. He co-hosts the Stout Laughs open mic at the Bethlehem Brewworks.
Working all over the Allentown area, Roya Hamadani is a regular performer at Steelstacks in Bethlehem. A bright, accomplished and well-traveled comedian with a razor-sharp wit, Hamadani is a co-host of Stout Laughs, an open mic at the Bethlehem Brewworks.
A Syracuse native who specializes in observational comedy, MrJaxn has spent time spent at the Funny Bone in Syracuse and New York City, He won the Utica Brews Laugh Contest and was a finalist in the 2017 Utica Comedy Cup. MrJaxn works all over the state, opened for Tammy Pescatelli in Auburn and was selected to appear on Amazon’s Comics Watching Comics at the Broadway Comedy Club.
